This is a scarf for my mum, knitted with SIRDAR, Kid Mohair. I did it with two colours plum and toffee.
I also added a ribbon trim on each end to finish it off!
I bought this fabric a few months ago, hoping to make an apron out of it, but realised I didn't have enough of it, so instead I made a nice little cosy for my ever increasing stash of knitting needles, I used an old biscuit tin and simply glued on the fabric! I love bird patterns sooooo much!!!
I've gone for some eco-wrapping paper from Paperchase, seen as I'm on a 'saving the world' vibe of late, it also goes with my vintage/gothic aesthetic, I hope its not too dramatic for a fuzzy warm holiday such as xmas???!!!

Yes, another scarf but this one was ordered...a plain white, simple scarf and it is exactly that. Again knitted in SIRDAR wool, this time a lovely cotton, wool blend so its nice and soft! I used 9mm needles and it only took me a couple of afternoons!
A scarf for my brothers girlfriend! I love the colour and texture of this wool! It is very much like Rowan Kid Silk but less expensive. Its called SIRDAR BLUR with Kid Mohair, its 70% acrylic and 30% Kid Mohair.
It knits very easily, although the tension is very hard to keep constant so it came out a bit wavy, but this is something that really doesn't matter when your wearing it!!!
